Reporting to the Director of Block Management, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of a quality property management service to a portfolio of residential buildings. This will include taking the lead on client care and liaison activities and acting as a line manager to Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers, supporting them in their roles and offering learning and training opportunities.
You’ll work in conjunction with the Director of Block Management, and you’ll be open to opportunities and remain commercially proactive in new business acquisition.
The company is split into two divisions, one managing the smaller schemes, one managing the larger. You’ll take up the Senior position that oversees the team managing the larger developments within the company’s portfolio, c1300 units across 35 developments.
Each division operates in a “pod” servicing the clients and leaseholders alike. It’s therefore a more collaborative effort that sees the right activity being actioned by the right member of the team, e.g. leaseholder enquiries will be answered firstly by the Assistant Property Managers, to free up the time of the PMs and yourself, ridding you of the back-and-forth administration duties.
The Property Managers take lead in servicing the buildings from an operational perspective, managing maintenance works, carrying out site inspections, etc.
You, the Senior Property Manager, will oversee the team and act as a liaison for clients, ensuring service delivery across the company’s portfolio. You’ll also approve budgets, track productivity metrics within the team, oversee health and safety and take lead on some client meetings.
This position is an office based role.
